DESCRIPITON

The almost colorless TPUA-C 43F is designed as curing agent for adhesives based on hydroxyl polyurethane, natural and synthetic rubber. Because the solvent is ethyl acetate, TPUA-C 43F can be used in those countries where the use of methylene chloride is restricted.

Approx 35% solution of an aromatic polyisocyanate in ethyl acetate.
Intrinsic color ................... Almost colorless liquid
NCO content, %by weight ................... 8.4±0.2.
Solubility ................... Soluble in various esters, ketones and aromatic solvents.
Storage stability ................... Reacts readily with moisture; for best life it should be kept dry and stored at temperatures between 5 OC and 32OC

 
COMPATIBILITY WITH SOLVENTS
TPUA-C 43F can be diluted with anhydrous and alcohol-free ethyl acetate, dichloropropane, trichloroethylene, acetone, methyl ethyl ketone and toluene, among other solvents. When added in relatively large proportions aliphatic hydrocarbons can cause turbidity; but can be re-dissolved by using earger proportions of the solvents mentioned above.
