Characteristics

CPU-60-6A-A/B is two components PU casting material. Its hardness is adjustable. It has good elasticity, high strength, excellent adhesion with textile, easy operation, good flexibility under the low temperature, outstanding performance on hydrolysis resistance and yellowing resistance.

Process methods

I. Heat materials:

1.

Heating temperature of CPU-60-6A-B: in summer 60-70, in winter 70-80. Heating temperature should be lower than 85, heating time should be 6-10hrs until the solid is melt to liquid entirely. Heating time cannot exceed 12hrs.

2.

Put CPU-60-6A-A along with its pail into the oven with the temperature of 70-80 for 6-10hrs until the solid is melt to liquid entirely. Heating temperature should be lower than 85 and heating time cannot exceed 12hrs.

3.

Put the entirely melt materials into the oven with the temperature of 40-50 for heat preservation.

 

II. Mixing:

1.

Before using, the well heated materials should be agitated evenly especially CPU-60-6A-A. Because CPU-60-6A-A contains chain extender and many additives, it must be agitated evenly before usage.

2.

Take adequate quantities of CPU-60-6A-A/B and seal their containers at once. Then, put them in the oven with the temperature of 40-50 for heat preservation. CPU-60-6A-B is active and easily reacts with moisture in air to cause NCO value to decrease, form a dry layer on its surface, cause the hardness and property of finished product to decrease and make reaction speed slow so dont pour too much and use it up as soon as possible.

Note

1.

CPU-60-6A-A/B should be stored at dry, cool and ventilated place to prevent from direct sunlight.

2.

CPU-60-6A-B easily reacts with moisture in air. Please use it up in the shortest time. Especially in the humid seasons(e.g. summer and spring), seal the container well at once and put it in oven after open it.

3.

Don't pour CPU-60-6A-B too much while waiting for mixing with CPU-60-6A-A to avoid exposing CPU-60-6A-B under the air to react with moisture and deteriorate.

Shelf life

The shelf life of the sealed well materials is 2 months. (The temperature of storage environment should be at 16-24℃)
