📝 Project Overview:
This is an aging townhouse with a metal canopy already installed on the rooftop. During heavy wind and rain, water seeps through the rooftop floor into the indoor space below. To prevent further leakage, a rapid waterproofing solution was required for the rooftop flooring

🧱 Construction Steps
Measure the dimensions of the work area
Select waterproofing materials and calculate required quantities
Prepare tools and materials
Day 1:
Clean the surface thoroughly
Day 1:
Apply primer coat
Day 1–2:
Apply mid-coats (one coat each day)
Day 3:
Apply topcoat
Perform water testing: splash and ponding tests to confirm waterproofing
Pre-Construction
Step 1: Inspect rooftop floor condition and measure the area
Step 2: Calculate and purchase required materials

Step 3: Prepare tools

Step 4 (Day 1): Cleaning & Surface Preparation
Surface must be clean and level, free of loose sand, oil stains, or cracks to ensure proper adhesion.
Moisture control: PU and polyurea coatings require low surface moisture for proper curing.
Use blower for efficient dust removal
Step 5 (Day 1): Apply Primer Coat with roller
~ Wait for primer to dry ~
Step 6 (Day 1): Apply first mid-coat
After primer dries, apply first mid-coat using roller and squeegee.
Step 6 (Day 2): Apply second mid-coat
Step 7 (Day 3): Apply Top Coat with roller
Step 8: Water Testing & Completion
Conduct splash and ponding tests to confirm waterproofing effectiveness
